Exploring the hidden systems that drive human behaviour — from market forces and economic patterns to the depths of the mind. Currently building something new in the R&D phase.
Learn MoreI'm Jenish Gurung — a researcher with a deep curiosity for the systems that shape human decisions. My work sits at the crossroads of economics and human psychology, studying why people act the way they do and what incentives really drive behaviour.
Beyond research, I'm an indie game developer. I believe games are one of the most powerful tools for exploring human psychology — every mechanic is a hypothesis, every player a subject. My current game project is in active R&D, applying behavioural research directly into game systems.
I'm also in the early R&D phase of a business venture — testing ideas, validating assumptions, and building towards something meaningful. I work best at the intersection of curiosity, creativity, and rigorous thinking.
Investigating how economic incentives interact with cognitive biases — exploring why rational models fall short and what actually drives human economic behaviour in the real world.
Ongoing ResearchMapping the psychological mechanisms behind risk-taking, loss aversion, and reward-seeking. Findings are applied in both economic modelling and game design.
In ProgressA small indie game under active development. Behavioural research insights directly shape the game mechanics — every design choice is intentional, not accidental.
R&D PhaseAn early-stage business concept built on research foundations. Testing hypotheses, validating opportunities, and laying the groundwork for something built to last.

Independent Studio — R&D Phase
Designing and building a small indie game from the ground up. Applying insights from psychology and behavioural economics directly into game mechanics, player motivation loops, and narrative structure. Every design decision is research-backed.
Present
Economics & Human Psychology
Conducting self-directed research into the intersections of economic theory and human psychology. Focused on decision-making under uncertainty, market behaviour, cognitive biases, and the forces that shape how people act.
Ongoing
Exploratory Venture
In the early research and development phase of a business concept — testing ideas, validating hypotheses, identifying market opportunities, and building a solid foundation before scaling.
Whether you want to collaborate on research, discuss ideas, talk game development, or just say hello — I'd love to hear from you.
